Genoa is a great Italian city where you can have a `quintessential Italian experience` without tourist crowds. I just do not remember something negative or irritant from our vacation in Genoa. The food, the people, the architecture and almost everything was more than perfectly Italian. So you should definitely visit Genoa and explore real Italy beyond tourist traps. Most of Genoa tourist guides suggest staying in a Monastery as a must while visiting Genoa. Usually, a referral of Priest is required to stay in a local Monastery. After reading this info, I was kind of disappointed for mising the opportunity of Monastery accommodation. Yet, we were quiet lucky to find a great hotel -
Hotel Hermitage- which were once a Monastery. Only, the word `Serenity` comes to my mind to define this amazing place as you will see from the photos below. We already added this place to our favorite hotels list. We will eventually go and stay there again;)

Cenova, turist kalabaliklari olmadan gercek Italyan deneyimini yasayabileceginiz bir sehir. Cenova tatilimizle ilgili en ufak kotu veya negatif birsey hatirlamiyorum.Yemekler, insanlar, mimari, kisaca hersey mukemmel ve fazlasiyla Italyandi. Kesinlike, Cenova`yi ziyaret etmeli ve turist tuzagi sehirlerin disindaki gercek Italya`yi kesfetmelisiniz. Cenova ile ilgili tum rehber kitaplar Cenova`dayken bir manastirda kalma deneyiminin kesinlikle yasanmasi gerektigini yaziyordu. Manastirda kalmak icin tanidik bir Papazin tavsiyesi gerektigini ogrenince biraz moralim bozulmustu. Cenova`da tanidik bir Papaz bulmak birazcik zor olabilirdi. Ama sansimiz yaver gitti ve biz eskiden Manastir olan bir hotel -
Hotel Hermitage- bulduk. Bu harika yeri tanimlamak icin aklima sadece tek bir sozcuk geliyor: `Huzur`. Asagidaki fotograflari gorunce ne demek istedigimi anlayacaksiniz. Biz, bu eski Manastiri simdiden en favori hotellerimiz arasina ekledik bile. Eninde sonunda tekrar gidecegiz;)

Genova ya tekrar geldiginizde biz de gelelim, birlikte bu huzurlu otelde kalalim, bu aksamki gibi sen vakit gecirelim :)
