Little Angels - Minik Melekler

PS. Bu eski bir yazi. Ama yilbasi suslemelerini henuz bitirmemis olanlara bir fikir vermek amaciyla tekrar yayinliyorum. Cupcake tadinda kalin;)

Just the week before our road trip, I attended crafts workshop. I have never been talented on crafts. Normally, I try to avoid those kind of events. But this time little angels tempted me so I was there:)

While creating little angels, I took the photos of every step so you can do by yourself at your home.

Materials:
cardboard (to sketch little angels)
pipe cleaner (for the body)
wood beads (big ones for the head; small ones are for the arms & feet)
colorful felt (for the outfit)
glassbead & ribbon (to accessorize angels` outfit)
tulle (for the wings)
crayon (to draw a face)
needle, yarn, scissors

Those little angels will be sold in Sarajevo Winter Market. And the proceeds will be used to fund health & education projects in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Tatil oncesi el sanatlari atolye calismasina katildim. El sanatlari konusunda hicbir zaman yetenekli olmamisimdir. Genelde bu tur aktivitelerden uzak durmaya calisirim. Fakat bu sefer minik meleklere karsi koyamadim:)

Minik melekleri yaparken her asamanin fotografini cektim. Eger isterseniz siz de evde kolaylikla yapabilirsiniz.

Malzemeler:
karton (minik meleklerin taslagini cizmek icin)
pipo temizleme cubuklari (meleklerin govdesi icin)
tahta boncuklar (buyuk olanlar kafa; kucukler ise kol ve ayaklar icin)
renkli keceler (meleklerin giysileri icin)
cam boncuk ve kurdeler (giysileri suslemede kullanilacak)
tul (melek kanatlari icin)
boya kalemi (meleklerin yuzunu cizmek icin)
igne, iplik ve makas

Bu minik melekler Saraybosna Kis Pazarinda satisa sunulacak. Elde edilen gelir de Bosna-Hersek`de cesitli saglik ve egitim projelerinde kullanilacak.

Celebrating Blue Monday * Pazartesi Sendromu Tedavisi

Christmas is the magical time of the year.
Everywhere is decorated with glitters, colors and lights.
As we are all excited for the new year, we create wish lists and make plans for 2012.
So, let`s take the advantage of the new year`s coming to celebrate Blue Monday.
This Monday, take your time to find your perfect 2012 calendar.
Choose something that will make you smile everyday ;)

I picked some from Amazon in line with my interests.
In the previous years, I used shoes and handbags calendar.
Starting a new bright day with a photo of different shoe or purse has been great!
This year, I will try something else that intrigues me: antique corsets ;)

Yilbasi, yilin en buyulu zamani.
Her yer cok renkli, isikli ve piriltili.
Yeni yil icin hepimiz cok heyecanliyiz, 2012 icin dilek listeleri ve planlar hazirliyoruz.

Bu sene icin daha degisik bir takvim denemeyi dusunuyorum. Vintage korseler olabilir ;)
