Expecting a baby girl puts the pink color at the center of your life :)
It is almost impossible to resist all pinky cute baby clothes.
But not only through baby items, pink is filtering into my life from many sides.
So, this week the inspiration comes from pink Cupcake items that I have recently bought.

1) Nowadays, I am attending so many prenatal courses 

including childbirth preparation, nutrition, breastfeeding etc.

I am kind of bombarded with information.

Hope that this pink notebook will help me to remember key points.

2) Although I do not like baking, I could not resist the cover of this book :)

    

3) And here comes another Cupcakes book. 

I would like to try baking and decorating Cupcakes with my baby-girl in the future :)

This week, my doctor suggested me to limit the amount of sugar in my daily diet. 
But this does not mean that I will not enjoy looking the pictures of sweet things.
So this week`s inspiration comes from the cookie&candy shop that I discovered in Nice, France.
I should confess that I literally fed myself and my inner child in this amazing shop :)

1) Another tough decision: Colorful cute tin boxes or Colorful Candies ? 

2) In a candy store, everyone is allowed to act like a child. So enjoy !!!

3) As Norwegians say, cookies are made of butter and love :)

This week, the inspiration comes from my passion for opera.
Last Saturday, we went to an outdoor opera event at the Millennium Park in Chicago.
Not only we listened great opera songs but also picnicked, enjoying the last summer nights of Chicago.

1) Jay Pritzker Pavillion at the Millennium Park 

has an amazing sound system that allows you to enjoy Lyric Opera`s performance

wherever you picnic at the park

2) We had everything we needed on the grass to enjoy a great selection of Opera Classics including 

Verdi`s `Va Pansiero` and entire fourth act of Bizet`s `Carmen`

Great food and wine (which I opted out this time due to pregnancy)

3) On our picnic towel, you can see what I am craving for recently:)

Trader Joe`s triple cream cheese, sea salt caramels (sweet and sour but more than yummy) and grapes

You can find here anything (teapots, candles, earrings and so on) in the art form

I bet it is the most colorful art shop in the windy city :)

This week, the inspiration comes from a fun and colorful brand: LittleMissMatched 

I just came across this brand while in Chicago and totally loved it !
They sell socks that do not match :)
They believe that matching is mundane and boring.
On the contrary, mixing is monumental and color is COOL :)

Here, you can buy socks in odd numbers. Or just buy a jar full with socks :)
Then decide which ones to wear ! So it`s up to your creativity how to mix your socks.

And they also sell SMELLY socks :)
They have sweetly scented socks. My favorites are vanilla and floral scented ones.

LittleMissMatched also started to `think outside the sock`.
In addition to socks, now they create tshirts, accessories, pijamas, flip flops and so on.

Rahatlook is an Ottoman word which means mental peace and tranquility.

It is something that cannot be bought by money;

but could be felt through small things in real life such as chatting with a friend, smiling to a baby... 

And Rahatlook is one of the cozy cafes that you can feel all here:)
