Cupcake Friday !!!

It has been such a busy week that I could not pay attention even to my blog.
Although I did my best to visit the blogs that I followed, I could not post any comments.
My plan for the weekend is to get more sleep, to have a facial
and to engage more at the blogosphere.

Thank God it`s Cupcake Friday!
I wish you a great weekend full with Cupcake surprises ;)

As I mentioned surprises, while I was looking to find the address of an art studio in Milan,
I came across this unique design shop: Salvatore + Marie

If you are following my blog for along time, you already know how I like design shops from my previous posts.
If you are new to my blog, please check them here and here.

Salvatore + Marie is owned by a very lovely and talented couple;
Salvatore is a designer and his wife Marie is a stylist.
In this shop, they sell both their own designs as well as of other recognized designers.

And thanks to the directions of this friendly couple, I could find the art studio that I was looking for easily!

Salvatore + Marie is a very cozy shop where you can touch each item.
Touching is so important for me.
Cannot buy any design without touching and smelling;)

Enjoy their designs visually at this time!
I totally recommending you visiting their shop if you have a chance to go to Milan.
Address:  Via Vigevano, 33 (Zona Porta Genova)

Have a Cupcake sweet weekend!!!

The Inspiration T(H)REE

Each Wednesday -on the 3rd day of week- I share 3 inspirational photos.

Those might be the photos of food, fashion, people, art or any view from my window...

My aim is to create an inspiration tree for the week.

Let those photos inspire us to make
- our lives more colorful,
- our week more stress-free,
- our selves more productive, happy and full of love.

This week, I get the inspiration from my kitchen!

Let`s see the world as a big CUPCAKE;)

1) Some fresh veggies on my kitchen countertop
I am a huge fan of green-red tomatoes
And love those flower-like lettuces

2) Whenever I go to a new city, I ask for the local wine
And here is Vinkara, local wine from my current city (Ankara)
Minimalist design of its label urged me to taste this one;)

3)My luck bowl is full with fresh berries
Typical week-day breakfast!!!

Have a Cupcake inspired Wednesday !!!

Sehirdeki en favori cafenize gidip hafif birseyler ismarlayin.

Cupcake Art @ Milan

While walking in Milan, I came across this art installation in a small art gallery.
The Marcorossi artecontemporanea Gallery is located in four different places:
Milan, Pietrasanta, Verona and Monza.

In Milan, Valerio Berruti`s sweet wonderful girls sitting and staring there invited me in.
Loved the stillness on his innocent figures.

Born in Alba, Piemonte, in 1977, Valerio Berruti, graduated in art criticism at D.A.M.S. of Torino.
Valerio Berruti takes inspiration from everyday life as well as from his family albums.
In his early 30s, Valerio Berruti already won many awards in contemporary art.

Interestingly, Valerio Berruti lives and works in Verduno
in a 17th century deconsecrated church bought and restored by the artist in 1995.
I wish I could visit his studio sometime.

For more information on Valerio Berruti`s art, please visit his website.
